When i was a kid,i used to hear the stories of the people who visited Chennai from my native village,mostly they are very excited about the cities vastness and tall buildings (LIC) .They tell me how they missed their bus and cheated by an auto driver,and at last about the places they visited, mainly the Beach ,Anna & Mgr memorial .They mostly come for official work so they can't spend much time on site seeing , from their little stories i used to visualize my own Chennai city in my mind.The first time i got a chance to visit the city during my 5th standard annual holidays to spend it in my aunties home.Her home is very near to valluvarkottam,obliviously my first tourist place in chennai.
